GTK extends its extended operating temperature range TFT series with the addition of a 10.1" version. The new 10.1" display features IPS technology, LVDS connectivity, and has 1,000cd brightness, making it sunlight readable. It also offers half-hour extended backlighting, making it ideal for industrial, always-on display applications. All these features and its extended temperature range make it an excellent choice for harsh environments and outdoor applications.
Clive Dickinson, GTK Display Business Manager, said the "10.1" screen size is becoming the "go-to" size for OEMs, so this new display perfectly complements the range. Typically, TFT displays operate between -20C and 70C, but displays in this range can operate between -30C and 85C, which means they can be used in a wider range of applications.
The company can provide OEMs with a variety of customization options, including custom enhancements, custom capacitive sensors, and extended cover glass lenses to allow flush mounting with recessed enclosures.
