Dell and Fujitsu Use Intel FPGAs in Servers

 Dell EMC PowerEdge R640, R740, and R740XD servers that have now integrated Intel FPGA acceleration are available for batch deployment. This PCIe-based FPGA acceleration card for data centers provides inline and backup acceleration. The acceleration stack provides a common developer interface for application and accelerator function developers, and includes drivers, application programming interfaces (APIs), and FPGA interface managers. Used with acceleration libraries and development tools, the acceleration stack saves developer time and enables code to be reused on multiple Intel FPGA platforms. The card can be deployed in various servers used in big data analysis, artificial intelligence, genomics, video transcoding, network security and financial transactions.
