FTDI's FT600 / FT601 is a USB 3.0 to FIFO (parallel) interface bridge chip. The device allows developers to upgrade the USB 2.0 connection to a new higher speed standard. Features include remote wake-up function, multi-voltage I / O: 1.8V, 2.5V and 3.3V, and battery charging specification BC1.2.
Typical applications include upgrading old peripherals to USB, using USB to increase system modularity, incorporating USB interfaces to support PC transmission for development system communication, cellular and cordless telephone USB data transmission cables and interfaces, and will be based on PLD / FPGA design and USB 3.0 interface.
