Fairchild's FL7734 primary-side regulated PWM controller is designed to minimize the components used in low-power LED lighting solutions.
FL7734 uses proprietary TRUECURRENT technology for strict constant current control. Within a wide line voltage range, designs with a constant current (CC) tolerance of less than ± 1% meet strict LED brightness requirements. FL7734 can be used with all types of phase cut dimmers. The company stated that constant input current control and leakage current control enable excellent dimmer compatibility without visible flicker.
