포스트 날짜: 2021-12-30, Schaffner EMC Inc.

Schaffner has introduced the new FN2220 EMC filter to meet the needs of rapid charging systems for electric vehicles.

With the rapid adoption of electric vehicles around the world, demand for charging stations is growing. To charge ev batteries on the move, major Oems are currently developing a new generation of high-power charging stations.

Electric cars deliver a large amount of energy in a short period of time when they are quickly recharged at roadside rest stops. To protect customers, electric vehicles, and the grid, electrical safety and EMC requirements need to be met. The new filter series attacks this challenge on the vehicle side of the charging station. It cleans the electricity that enters the car, providing a safe charging experience.

The new filter family is designed to operate safely at industry-specific charging voltages up to 1000VDC and offers a wide power range of 75KW-600kW. The filter can be directly integrated into the design of new charging stations without additional compliance testing, reducing development time and cost.

The new filter meets the requirements of two central EV charging standards: IEC/EN 61851-23 electric vehicle conduction charging system and UL 2202 Electric vehicle (EV) charging system equipment.

The series is suitable for charging station power grade, rated current from 150A to 600A. Even the smallest version can reach 75kW (FN2230-150-99-C2022-R99). The top end is the FN2220-600-99-C2222-R99 filter with rated voltages of 600A and 1000V. 600kW charging can be achieved using only one EMC filter.
