Advanced Energy Industries, Inc expands the TEGAM 700 series of bond gauges with two handheld measurement tools. The device is claimed to be the smallest and lightest bonding table in the industry. The TEGAM 720A is an intrinsically safe device for use in environments where flammable gases or liquids may be present and conventional tools cannot be used without a safety risk. The TEGAM 730A with Bluetooth LE connectivity enables seamless data communication with any software running on Windows, iOS or Android platforms, eliminating the need for complex integration into existing data logging systems.
The TEGAM 720A and TEGAM 730A Bonding Tables are ideal for the manufacture and maintenance of aerospace, automotive, renewable energy equipment and other applications where testing the integrity of mechanical and electrical bonds is a critical imperative. The new handheld tool offers an industry-leading 0.2% resolution of 1 μohm. This performance can be maintained over an operating temperature range of -10C to 55C, allowing bonded meters to be used in a variety of applications and environments. Each offers a clear and informative backlit display, the sealed keyboard rejects fluids and grime, and no compromises on tactile feedback. The battery life of the three AA batteries that power the tool is about 100 hours. As standard, the tool comes with a three-year warranty.
