The LT5525 is a low-power broadband mixer optimized for high linearity applications such as point-to-point data transmission, high-performance radio and wireless infrastructure systems. The device includes a dual balanced active mixer core driven by a high-speed LO amplifier with an internal 50 Ω matching. Integrated RF buffer amplifiers provide good LO RF isolation. RF input balun and all relevant 50 Ω matching components are integrated.

IF port can be easily matched in a wide range of frequencies for a variety of applications. The LT5525 provides a high-performance alternative to passive mixers. Unlike the passive mixer, the LT5525 requires a higher LO drive level, operates at a significantly lower LO input level, and is insensitive to changes in LO power levels.
