Littelfuse introduces four new multifunctional circuit protection devices in the Littelfuse protection integrated circuit product line. LS2405IDD23, LS0504EDD12, LS12052BD33, and LS24062RQ23. These electronic fuse protection IC products feature an innovative design and are ideal for highly integrated protection across a wide range of power inputs (3.3V to 28V).
These semiconductor-based electronic fuses provide strong protection against overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuit, and surge current. Other features include reverse current blocking, undervoltage locking (UVLO), soft start, and overtemperature protection with real-time diagnostics. All in one compact chip.
Bernie Hsieh, assistant product manager for Littelfuse's Protected Semiconductor Business team, said, "The expanded line of electronic fuse protected IC products provides electronics designers with significant performance benefits. "Compared to traditional fuses, PTCS, power switches, and discrete solutions such as Schottky diode and MOSFET combinations, electronic fuses offer superior integration, tunability, flexibility, and reliable protection in a highly compact form factor that saves space on a PC board."
The latest additions to the electronic fuse protection IC product line are the following:
● LS0504EDD12-5V and 4A low-RON distribution load switches packaged with DFN1.2x1.6 are adopted
● LS12052BD33-18V, 5A electronic fuse in DFN2x2 package with overvoltage and Fet-blocking functions
● LS2405IDD23-24V, 5A very low forward voltage diode in small 8-lead DFN 2x3 package
● LS24062RQ23-28V, 6A two-way electronic fuses in 16-lead QFN 2.5x3.2 package with dual port independent current limit Settings
