Luminus Devices' CBM-120-UV series mosaic array board chip LEDs have uniform brightness across the entire LED chip surface.
Densely arranged arrays can produce optical power and brightness that cannot be achieved with a single-chip package. CBM-120-UV LED can be used to replace arc and halogen lamps. From junction to heat sink, the thermal resistance of the LED is 0.6C / W. The company says that thermal management is critical in high-power LED applications-driving LEDs at higher current densities and maintaining lower junction temperatures.
