Microchip Technology AVR32DD and AVR16DD 8-bit microcontrollers are based on the AVR CPU and have a hardware multiplier. They operate at a clock speed of up to 24MHz in the full power supply voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V. AVR32DD and AVR16DD mcu are designed to bring real-time control and multi voltage operation to applications, including industrial control, home appliances, automobiles and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Block Diagram
AVR32DD and AVR16DD mcu use core independent peripherals (CIPs), with low power consumption function and 5V operation to improve noise immunity. Multi voltage I/O (MVIO) design allows safe two-way communication with systems operating at different voltages. These mcu include an event system, configurable custom logic (CCL) and intelligent analog peripherals, such as 12 bit differential ADC, zero cross detection (ZCD) and 10 bit DAC. These functions, together with MVIO, make these devices very suitable for sensor applications, IoT terminal nodes and other applications requiring signal conditioning or level transfer.
Pinout
Microchip technology AVR32DD and AVR16DD mcu provide 14 and 20 pin packages, with up to 32KB Flash, up to 4KB SRAM and 256 byte EEPROM. AVR DD mcu is functionally safe for safety critical applications for industrial and automotive products (IEC 61508 and ISO 26262).
