The Laird Connectivity Sentrius MG100/BT510/BT610 Cumulocity IoT Kit, distributed by Mouser, features the Laird Connectivity Pinnacle™ 100 modem and Sentrius MG100 gateway at the core, and combines the benefits of Bluetooth 5 technology with low-power cellular LTE connectivity. This fully integrated single solution acquires data from Bluetooth 5-enabled sensors and then seamlessly transfers to the industry-renowned Software AG Cumulocity IoT telemetry platform (60-day free trial available). Cumulocity IoT provides fast remote asset visualization and control for asset tracking, cold chain monitoring, smart buildings or Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) systems without software development.
The kit comes with two proven sensor systems: Sentrius BT510 and Sentrius BT610. Among them, Sentrius BT510 is a multi-sensor platform that combines four sensing functions of temperature, switch, motion and shock, as well as long-distance transmission (coded PHY), security functions and Bluetooth 5 beacons, etc. Bluetooth 5 Function. The module integrates the well-established Laird Connectivity BL654 series long-distance transmission module and Nordic Semiconductor nRF52840 SoC, which has powerful processing capabilities and integrates 1MB flash memory, enabling feature-rich applications through development.
The Sentrius BT610 sensor transforms a wired sensor into an IP67 rated, battery-operated wireless node with robust, secure messaging. The sensor is also equipped with a BL654 series module, thus providing full Bluetooth 5 functionality including LE encoded PHY. The Sentrius BT610 is ideal for IoT in harsh environments where a reliable wireless connection is required for the system to function properly.
