Murata announced the DE1 type RB series of X1 grade leaded ceramic safety capacitors. This series is suitable for high-voltage industrial applications, such as three-phase power supplies or inverters driving three-phase motors, suitable for category X1, with a rated voltage of 760VAC (RMS). DE1 complies with internationally recognized IEC 60384-14, UL60384-14 and EN60384-14 standards, and is suitable for X1 / Y1 capacitors in EMI suppression circuits. With its compact size, this capacitor also helps reduce the overall space requirements of the application. It also has a maximum operating temperature of 125C, so it can be placed close to sources of electromagnetic noise.
This series can also be used as a Class Y1 capacitor for connecting between an AC power line and ground, with a rating of 500VAC (RMS).
This series is available in standard values from 10 pF to 4,700 pF and has value-dependent dimensions with an outer diameter of 6mm to 14mm.
