Memsic, the world's leading supplier of inertial MEMS sensors, has released a new AMR geomagnetic sensor MMC5616WA, which is a new upgrade of the ultra-small AMR geomagnetic sensor MMC56x3 series produced by Meisin in large scale to meet the rich application scenarios including smart phones, wearable devices, drones, AR/VR, etc.
As the navigation function of portable devices such as smart phones is used more frequently, users have higher requirements on the power consumption of devices. In order to meet the increasingly stringent performance and power consumption requirements, Memsic MMC5616WA adhering to the AMR sensor unique high precision, low noise, low temperature bleaching and other excellent performance, at the same time, add 16 groups of FIFO data cache, conducive to a large number of application scenarios to reduce the MCU wake up frequency, compared to the current market mainstream products, System power consumption can be reduced by 15-30 times.
The MMC5616WA adds support for the I3C's high-speed communication interface, communication rates up to 12.5MHz, and is downward compatible with the I2C interface. It also supports a voltage as low as 1.2V I/O interface, meeting the latest trend of I/O voltage on various mainstream platforms. The MMC5616WA supports a data sampling rate of up to 2,000Hz, which is suitable not only for smart phones, smart bands and watches, but also for drones and AR/VR applications that pursue high sampling rates.
"Memsic AMR Helicobacter pylori has a proven record of performance and quality," said Lew, CEO of Memsic Helicobacter Pylori. "The advanced product, MMC5616WA, builds on the strength of the past to further meet customer needs with solid and significant performance, and is expected to achieve even greater success."
