According to Vishay, New Yorker Electronics now offers the New Vishay Sfernice P11H Series modular high-torque panel potentiometers. They deliver industry high rotational torque of 8Ncm, a full 200% higher than the nearest competitor -- with a size of 12.5mm and a shaft diameter of 6.35mm.
The new potentiometer provides high torque for smooth operation throughout the life of the potentiometer. The series is available at ±10% or ±20% tolerances and resistance options of 1kOhm, 4.7Kohm, 10kOhm, 47kOhm and 100kOhm. Operating temperature range from -55C to +125C. These potentiometers are designed to maintain Settings under high mechanical constraints of vibration, shock, and other factors.
Equipment options include custom shafts, connectors, switches, wires and special leads and cones. Potentiometer applications include voltage dividers or rheostat for light, radio volume and air conditioning control of tractors, construction equipment and aircraft cockpits, plus industrial tool Settings and welding, motor speed and low power control. The series of products have passed CECC 41000 and IEC 60393-1 certification, seal class IP64, operation life of more than 50,000 times
W10 PCB pin mounting leads are 35.6 mm (1.4 in) long; Y00 solder (wire mounting) lead option is 30 mm (1.18 in.) long. Both are used for vertical mounting, but PCB pin mounting horizontally is easy to customize. Other equipment options include custom shafts, connectors, switches, wires and special leads and tapers.
