AMETEK Abaco Systems has released the OpenVPX and SOSA compliant devx3 development platform, the chassis helps users maintain a robust, fast-paced development schedule by quickly demonstrating and proving the ultimate capabilities of their 3U VPX solutions at the system or board level. At the same time, it provides a flexible and economical platform for application development, integration and testing based on open standards.
The lab-ready chassis enables sensor and system solution providers to reduce lab and demonstration timelines by providing a quick and efficient way to see how companies and their partners are progressing with VPX. Software and firmware time-to-market is also reduced by reusing existing boards or purchasing economical stock air-cooled variants.
Open frame and backplane allow for quick configuration of off-the-shelf cables or rear transition modules. The chassis supports conduction and air-cooled Abaco 3U modules, aligns with OpenVPX and SOSA standards, and has 8 independent slots.
