Schaffner adds to its extensive line of IEC power connectors. The connector was developed to enhance the company's locking connector capabilities by integrating two locking mechanisms into a single combo connector. This ensures compatibility with a wide range of standard non-locking C13 sockets, including inlet filter types: IL 13, IL 13 P and IL 19. It will work with any Schaffner IEC C14/C20 inlet filter and is a simple retrofit to any IEC C14/C20 inlet.
The new IL13P-S is a C14/C20 IEC double locking power connector that provides an innovative solution to prevent accidental disconnection in data centers, servers, pdu, medical equipment, industrial equipment, audio/broadcast and other critical power system. Power connectors are available in cable lengths of 0.5m, 1m, 1.5m, 2m, 2.5m and 3m. Four cable colors can be specified as black, white, red and blue. The tension force of the locking system is generally 200N, and it is recommended to use it with a flange mounted filter.
The new connector includes the following features, the load side connector is the new IEC LOCK C13+ SLIMLINE version. It is a thinner and more compact IEC LOCK C13+ connector with two locking mechanisms. Line-side connectors are made from field-proven IEC lock C14 connectors. Rated current up to 10A (C13 plug), up to 15A (C13P plug), up to 20A (C19 plug). The maximum pin temperature is +70C. Provides a variety of international power cord plugs.
