The MS5837-02BA06 pressure Sensor module, now available from Mouser, is an ultra-small gel-filled pressure sensor optimized for altimeter and barometer applications. The module is a 2bar model that provides better durability for chlorine gas environments. These pressure sensor modules provide a rugged package that enables them to withstand harsh environments.
The MEMS-BASED sensor contains a high linear pressure sensor with ultra-low power 24-bit digital output (I2C) and high resolution at sea level of 13 cm. The device can take high-resolution measurements, such as counting the height of stairs.
Typical applications include multi-sport watches, fitness trackers, swimming watches, bicycle computers, mobile altimeter/barometer systems, personal navigation devices, and drones and other autonomous vehicles.
