Recom's new RCOB LED driver series was developed specifically to meet the requirements of COB (chip-on-board) LEDs. This driver series includes 11 models with an output voltage between 25 and 44VDC and a constant output current of 350 to 1050mA, so it can provide a suitable driver for almost any application.
RCOB drivers are inexpensive, have active PFC (> 0.95), and are up to 90% efficient. Thanks to their compact and flat design (106mm x 67mm x 22mm), these drivers can be integrated into any type of lighting system. Inputs and outputs are on the same side of the drive, which makes installation easier. The RCOB-A version of the driver has a 1 to 10 V input and can be dimmed from 0 to 100%.
Since the new driver series is designed for the European market, its input voltage is 230VAC (198 to 264VAC). Allowable operating temperature range is -20C to + 50C. The company says that many safety features that protect equipment from short circuits, overloads, overvoltages, and overheating ensure maximum availability and reliability.
