Renesas Electronics Corporation (Renesas Electronics Corporation) introduced the automotive pressure sensor solution ZSSC4132, which provides a certified integrated LIN v2.2a interface. The single-package SSC achieves first-class performance in a compact form factor, improved design flexibility and cost-effectiveness, and can be used in HVAC applications used in plug-in PHEV, BEV, and FCEV climate control systems.
The device can be configured for almost all resistance bridge sensors. This flexibility, coupled with the leading performance level, integrated LIN PHY, small package, and AEC-Q100 Class 0 certification, makes SSC ideal for small automotive sensor modules with limited space, tight budgets, and small EOL calibration requirements.
Christian Wolf, Vice President of Renesas Electronics’ Automotive Sensors Business Unit, said: “HVAC plays an important role in the range of EV batteries. OEMs are looking to improve system efficiency, maintain high performance and maintain strict A cost-constrained approach." "With ZSSC4132, customers can access complete LIN-certified SSC solutions, allowing them to easily and cost-effectively expand their HVAC system development to develop mid-range to high-end EVs and HEVs."
