Texas Instruments DS90C189-Q1 is a low-power bridge for automotive applications that reduces the size of the RGB interface between the host GPU and the display.
The bridge is designed to support single-pixel data transmission between the host and the flat panel display at a resolution of up to QXGA (2048 × 1536) at 60Hz. The transmitter converts up to 24-bit (single-pixel 24-bit color) 1.8V LVCMOS data into two channels, each channel has four LVDS compatible data streams with a reduced data + clock (4D + C) width.
DS90C189-Q1 supports two working modes. For all modes, the device supports 24bpp color.
The device is housed in a small 64-pin QFN package and features a single 1.8V supply to minimize power consumption.
