The MIC49150 is a high-bandwidth, low-power, 1.5A voltage regulator ideal for powering the core voltage of low-power microprocessors. There are 8-pin power supply MSOP package and 5-pin S-Pak. The operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +125°C.
Typical application
The MIC49150 implements a dual power supply configuration that allows for very low output impedance and very fast transient response. The MIC49150 requires both a biased input power supply and a main input power supply, allowing for ultra-low input voltage along the main power guide.
Functional characteristics
The input power supply operates between 1.4V and 6.5V, and the bias power supply needs to operate between 3V and 6.5V to function properly. The MIC49150 offers fixed output voltage from 0.9V to 1.8V and adjustable output voltage to 0.9V. The MIC49150 requires minimal output capacitance to maintain stability and works best with small ceramic capacitors.
