Microchip Technology now offers next-generation full online emulators, debugging and programming development tools for its PIC and AVR MCUS, dsPIC, DSCs, and SAM MCUS and MPU.
The simulator provides a flexible development experience, including advanced debugging capabilities, the ability to write energy-efficient code, and all the features needed to reduce debugging time. The simulator is the fastest and most featured-rich simulation and programming tool for the company's MCU and MPU, with powerful, easy-to-use MPLAB X IDE GUI debugging and programming.
"The system offers new possibilities and applications through enhanced hardware and wireless connectivity options, enabling engineers to expand their development capabilities with this all-in-one powertrain," said Rodger Richey, senior director, Microchip Development Systems Business Unit. "Coupled with advanced power monitoring capabilities, embedded design engineers can optimize both hardware and software for a comprehensive, energy-efficient design."
The system uses ultra-fast USB 3.0 or high-speed USB 2.0 connections, with the option of using Ethernet or Wi-Fi wireless connections for flexibility and ease of use.
Wi-fi connectivity is ideal for providing isolated environmental conditions, such as high-voltage motor control applications or floating systems without ground loops. In addition, the system provides Ethernet or Wi-Fi connectivity for seamless wireless programming and debugging. The Ethernet connection provides remote debugging for remotely monitored applications.
