U-blox NORA-W2 multi radio module is a stand-alone module, which integrates a 32-bit dual core microcontroller unit (MCU) and a radio module for wireless communication. The radio supports Wi Fi 802.11b/g/n and BLUETOOTH in the 2.4 GHz ISM band Low power (LE) v5.0. Embedded AWS IoT ExpressLink compatible software includes a security certificate pre embedded in the module. In this way, the module can provide "out of the box" connectivity through Amazon Web Services (AWS). NORA-W2 module also supports module firmware and secure wireless (OTA) updates for host applications. The stateless AT command is used through the serial interface to control and communicate with the module.
NORA-W2 multi radio module is designed with safe startup to ensure that the module can only be started in the presence of certified software.
