Advantech Has launched the AIR-020 series, an ultra-compact edge AI system powered by The NVIDIA Jetson series. Offering a small footprint of 139mm x 110mm x 44.5mm(5.47 "x 4.33" x 1.75 "), the series is ideal for edge AI applications including traffic monitoring, AGV/AMR, defect detection, personnel counting, medical imaging, and more. The series uses NVIDIA Jetson Nano, TX2 NX and Xavier NX SoM to provide low-power computing and powerful AI reasoning.
It is powered by NVIDIA Xavier NX SoM, Jetson TX2 NX's AIR-020T, and Jetson Nano's Air-020N to meet different AI applications and performance needs. All three products offer an ultra-compact design with only 139mm x 110mm x 44.5mm(5.47 "x 4.33" x 1.75 ") sizes, making them easy to integrate into applications. The air-020x supports high resolution imaging processing up to 21TOPS and 1058fps. Air-020t and AIR-020N support 1.33/0.5 TFLOPS and 109/48 FPS. The series supports a wide range of 12-24VDC inputs, a -10C to 55C operating range, and is resistant to vibration and humidity.
Artificial intelligence projects are widely used in applications that require variable peripheral connections. The series features A wide range of I/O ports including 2 USB 3.2 Type A, USB 3.2 Type C, 1 or 2 GBes, 1 or 2 RS-232/422/485, 8-bit DIO and CANBus for data acquisition and communication. The ultra-compact AI case comes preloaded with 4GB/8GB LPDDR4 and 16GB eMMC 5.1. In addition, it provides 128GB of M.2 storage as the default setting for data storage used by AI.
The series comes bundled with the Ubuntu 18.04 LTS OS environment, Advantech Edge AI Suite and JetPack SDK 4.5.1. Developers can simply develop ai models and deploy applications. In terms of data security, it adopts TPM 2.0 trusted platform module and security startup, which opens the door for computation-intensive industrial applications and improves system security.
