The rapid development of autonomous driving and intelligent cockpit technology is promoting the traditional car to complete a new round of intelligent innovation, making it from a simple means of transportation to the "third living space". In this case, the BCM body control module, as an important part of the body electrical system, has been the focus of automobile manufacturers. A powerful body control module can significantly improve the comfort and convenience of the car, allowing the driver to operate more smoothly. However, the design and development of BCM module is becoming more and more complex as more and more functions are carried by cars. In order to reduce the input and testing cost of the automobile manufacturer, the company has introduced the body Control Module (BCM) solution based on the NXP S32K344 chip.
The core of this solution is NXP S32K344 MCU, which is based on Arm® Cortex®-M7 kernel, has 160MHz master frequency and supports ASIL D security standard. It also has an internal hardware Safety engine (HSE) with NXP firmware and supports wireless firmware update (FOTA). In addition, S32K344 MCU retains the performance of the existing S32 automotive platform, enabling software to be reused across multiple products and with high compatibility, which greatly reduces the development difficulty and workload of Tier1 and automobile manufacturers. The S32K344 MCU also takes the S32K series into new areas such as Zone control, battery management, and high-end body electronics.
This program has an extremely rich communication interface, which can be connected with the PEPS, UWB and other programs of Da United Da Shiping Group to achieve comfortable access function. At the same time, the BCM program can be adapted with the AUTOSAR driver provided by NXP for free, which can further accelerate the user development speed and shorten the development cycle. In addition, most components in the scheme have power supply options, which not only facilitate users to adjust according to their own needs, but also facilitate customers to understand the power consumption of related components. In addition, the solution's BGA 257pin leads all resources to the client for subsequent development and testing.
