Intersil has introduced the ISL94203 3-to-8 cell battery pack monitor to support lithium-ion (Li-ion) and other battery chemistries used in medical mobility carts, wheelchairs, e-bikes, handheld power tools, vacuum cleaners and solar or renewable energy storage systems.
Intersil has introduced the ISL71840SEH and ISL71841SEH, new radiation-hardened (rad-hard) multiplexers which offer best-in-class electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection, and the industry’s highest signal chain accuracy and timing performance, says the company.
The ISL9120, a new buck-boost switching regulator that enables efficient power management of system power supplies and peripherals such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, memory cards or LCD modules has been introduced by Intersil.
Intersil has unveiled the TW9992 analog video decoder, which features an integrated MIPI-CSI2 output interface that provides compatibility with the newest SoC processors. The decoder’s MIPI-CSI2 interface simplifies design by making it easier to interface with SoCs, while also lowering the system’s EMI profile.
Latest from Intersil is the first 60V synchronous buck controller able to bypass the intermediate step-down conversion stage traditionally employed in industrial applications. The ISL8117 synchronous step-down PWM controller’s low duty cycle (40ns minimum on time) enables the direct step-down conversion from 48V to a 1V point-of-load.
Intersil’s ISL8272M 50A digital DC-DC PMBus power module integrates a digital PWM controller, dual-phase power MOSFETs, inductors, and passive components. The ISL8272M does not require airflow or a heatsink, and can work in a current-sharing configuration with up to 4 modules to provide up to 200A of continuous current. The ISL8272M operates with the ChargeMode control architecture, which responds to a transient load within a single switching cycle.
Intersil has unveiled PowerNavigator version 5.2, a free, downloadable graphical user interface (GUI) that helps system designers quickly configure, validate and monitor their power supply architectures. The new features included in PowerNavigator 5.2 enable a high degree of power supply optimization. Combined with the drag-and-drop GUI interface, PowerNavigator 5.2 makes it straightforward to change features and functions of a digital power supply design without writing a single line of code.
